Dolphy's grandson killed
A 15-year old grandson of comedy king Dolphy was reportedly gunned down and killed in Quezon City early Saturday morning.
According to a report by DZMM's Rod Izon, the victim was identified as Jelome Carlo Quizon, a son of Edgar Quizon.
Izon said that according to security guard Noel Lino of the Chinese Medical Center in Manila, Jelome Carlo was rushed to the said hospital at around 5:20 a.m. Saturday, along with two of his companions who were also hurt in a shooting incident in a street in Bonifacio Drive in Quezon City.
He was reportedly declared dead at around 6:07 a.m. Jerome Carlo reportedly sustained gunshot wounds to the body.
The two companions of Jerome Carlo were Angelo Abangan, 19, and Gener Balingit, 17. The two are also from Quezon City. Abangan was reportedly shot in the leg, while Balingit also suffered gunshot wounds.
The DZMM report said that Lino's information was gathered through his queries from the relatives of the victims.
Jerome Carlo and his two companions were reportedly walking along Bonifacio Drive in Quezon City at around 5 a.m. Saturday when they encountered a group of teenagers with firearms. Jerome Carlo is now reportedly at St. Peter Funeral Homes in Quezon City.
